We are delighted to announce that we’ve scooped the “Best Brand Activity at a Public Event” Award for our work for BT Global Services. This prestigious accolade was announced at the 2009 Event Awards; sponsored by the leading industry publication Event Magazine, the Awards are designed to celebrate and recognise outstanding work in the fields of exhibitions, experiential campaigns and creative events.

We won such a coveted prize in recognition for our work in delivering the corporate hospitality programme for our long standing client, BT Global Services, at the start of the famous Vendée Globe race in Les Sables d’Olonne, France. The event was one of nine global events that the Worldspan team delivered as part of BT’s sponsorship of BT Team Ellen, the figurehead of which is legendary round-the-world yachtswoman Dame Ellen MacArthur. It goes without saying that we were absolutely thrilled to receive the award and for Client Services Director, Jenny Eaves, who directed the project from start to finish, an enormous sense of achievement, having delivered a programme that exceeded the client’s objectives, on time, on-budget and on-brand.
